Food Education and Mediterranean Diet Promotion

As part of the Tool4MEDlife project, a dedicated area was set up at the UNICAM stand during the Tipicità Festival to focus on food education and the promotion of the Mediterranean diet as a healthy lifestyle.
The Tipicità Festival is a vibrant ecosystem, made up of experiences, people and places that transform Italian identity into a global resource. For over thirty years, Tipicità has been promoting authentic Made in Italy through a system that connects regions, innovation, research and creativity. It is not a museum of the past, but a living platform where the local meets the world.
The strong bond between this festival and our institution, which actively promotes it, allows us to have an annual presence at the stand, promoting the mission and vision at the heart of Tool4MEDLife. Indeed, since 2024, we have been actively engaging the event’s attendees with educational games designed to introduce them to the principles of a balanced diet and teach them to make informed food choices aligned with the excellence of local products.
