WP2 - Nutritional and social data collection
concerning the Mediterranean Diet
and food habits
WP LEADER: ESTeSL-IPL
The aim is to understand and evaluate what influences healthy eating habits in local Mediterranean communities involved in the project. This includes a survey that examines dietary habits and how well these communities follow the Mediterranean Diet.





WP3 - Design and production of new healthy foods derived from the Mediterranean Diet, including low-fat cheese and foods fortified with functional molecules
WP LEADER: ATU
The aim is to design and develop different new healthy foods: Low-fat cheese – Fortified extra-virgin olive oil – Foods derived from milk, and dairy products, such as whey beverages, fermented beverages, and cheese snacks.
These will be enriched with antioxidant-rich extracts and functional molecules (vitamins), extracted through the use of green methodologies from organic waste, focusing on the circular economy and food waste reduction.





WP4 - Design and development of educational toolkits based on Mediterranean Diet and good nutrional and behavioral practices
WP LEADER: URL
Toolkit prototypes will be created focusing on traditional communication methods, innovative teaching tools, and online technologies, all aimed at various target groups. Board and card games – Web portals – E-learning platforms – Mobile apps – E-cookbook.
These advanced educational toolkits will cater to the diverse needs of the Mediterranean population, incorporating an evaluation of educational strategies and an effective distribution plan.






WP5 - Project's communication, dissemination
and results exploitation
WP LEADER: UNICAM (co-leader IAC)
The main goal of dissemination in Tool4MEDLife is to showcase the project’s impact in a way that is both visible and advantageous, extending beyond the project’s limits. This is especially aimed at stakeholders involved in the Mediterranean agri-food value chain, the scientific community, as well as public authorities and the general public.
