The event represented the 26th International Manifestation of Olive Growers and Oil Millers, which aimed to strengthen the sector through a multidisciplinary approach integrating scientific innovation, environmental sustainability (such as the use of bioproducts and water management), and the promotion of territorial and cooperative heritage.
A Multidisciplinary Approach to Sector Development
The initiative focused on combining research, sustainability practices, and local heritage to support the evolution and resilience of the olive growing sector. Within this framework, the Tool4MEDLife project was a key participant in the innovation session.
Promoting the Mediterranean Diet Through Innovation
The presentation highlighted the various prototypes specifically developed to promote the Mediterranean diet and provide essential nutritional support to address the specific deficiencies identified during the project’s investigative surveys.
