New foods and educational toolkits for a healthy and sustainable mediterranean lifestyle.
The Tool4MEDLife educational toolkits were developed to promote healthy, sustainable and culturally rooted Mediterranean Diet habits across different age groups and learning contexts.
The toolkit ecosystem combines playful learning, digital education, practical cooking guidance and mobile-based support. Each resource was designed to help users understand, explore and apply Mediterranean Diet principles in everyday life.
Through board games, an e-cookbook, mobile applications and an e-learning platform, Tool4MEDLife offers multiple ways to learn about food, sustainability, cooking skills, meal planning and Mediterranean food culture.
Explore the Toolkits below:
Interactive board games designed to support Mediterranean Diet learning through play, collaboration and discussion. The games help children, adolescents and adults explore food groups, healthy choices, sustainability and Mediterranean food culture.
A digital collection of Mediterranean recipes from partner countries, designed to translate healthy eating principles into practical cooking actions. Recipes include ingredients, preparation steps, allergens, difficulty level and educational suggestions.
Digital tools that help users build balanced Mediterranean Diet meals, receive real-time feedback and monitor their food choices over time. The apps support everyday decision-making through guided meal composition and recipe-based learning.
A modular online learning platform with educational content on the Mediterranean Diet, food groups, sustainability, nutrients, physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits. The platform is adapted for different age groups and learning contexts.
The Tool4MEDLife toolkits are designed as interconnected resources. Users can learn through the e-learning platform, explore food choices through board games, apply recipes from the e-cookbook and use the mobile apps to support daily meal planning.
Together, these tools create an integrated educational ecosystem for promoting healthy, sustainable and culturally meaningful Mediterranean Diet habits.
